Be The Buddy Everyone Wants To Have Around

Cave diving can be relaxing, meditative, fun, and exhilarating, but there's no denying the risk entailed by going into an overhead environment. As a fairly equipment-intensive, capital-intensive sport, it's also unsurprising that practitioners tend to be a bit older, since  time and money are needed to undertake this pastime. In short: there's plenty of scope for Murphy to strike.

Bitter experience has taught us that when Murphy appears, there are certain people that are good to have around. People who know what to do, and who have the physical equipment ready at hand to do it.  People who remain cool under pressure with the ability to make good contingency plans. To some extent, some people are innately better at staying cool and collected than others, but we also believe that it's a nurturable trait when you have the surety of recent training on which to fall back.

At XOC-Ha, we can teach you to be one of those people.  Let us give you accredited CPR and First Aid training, and certify you as an oxygen administrator.  Drawing on his years of experience as the Dive Safety Officer of the New York Aquarium, Rog will equip you with the skills you need to handle emergencies with calm assurance. Obviously, we wish you a lifetime of uneventful diving, but if something nasty ever crops up, we're confident that you'll be the kind of person folks will be grateful to have around.
